Original jewellery by goldsmith Kristen Jones

Queen Bijoux is a play on words combining bijoux, the French word for jewels (pronounced bee-zhoo), with my respect for the hardworking honeybee.

This site is a gallery of my handmade, custom jewellery design. Please enjoy browsing the collections. As a professional goldsmith, I design original wedding rings, brooches, ear rings, necklaces and bracelets in gold, silver, and platinum. Many of these incorporate gemstones, rose cut diamonds, and rare, ancient coins. I use several traditional goldsmith techniques to produce my jewellery.

If you are in Vancouver, British Columbia, you’re welcome to visit my jewellery studio on Granville Island where you can see some of my original jewellery creations.

Antiquus – the quality of being ancient. Humans have a long history for self adornment. It is my wish to use the influences of a romanticized past to create timeless jewellery for my contemporary clientele.

Pertaining to marriage. The custom of exchanging engagement and wedding rings has a symbolic history. Start your own story with rings that are custom made just for you.

The goddess of flowers. I am lucky to live in a home surrounded by an overgrown garden. My days begin and end with visions of vines, leaves, and flowers. My wild garden is a constant inspiration for me.

Sweetened with honey. The bee is the symbol of sweetness, wealth and industriousness. The bee is also the emblem of the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. I have incorporated rare coins from Ephesus in some of my designs for this collection.
